Terms of Use
1. Who We Are
ReFound Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Coppell, Texas. Our platform facilitates connections between community donors and recipients — we do not own, purchase, sell, inspect, or take custody of any items listed.
2. What the Platform Does
ReFound Impact provides a technology platform that allows individuals to list surplus items for donation and allows verified recipients to request those items. We act solely as a facilitator. All transactions and transfers occur directly between donors and recipients.
3. Donor Responsibilities
By listing an item, you confirm that: (a) you have the legal right to give the item away, (b) the item is safe for general use, (c) the item does not contain hazardous, illegal, or restricted materials, and (d) you will make the item available for pickup in a safe, publicly accessible manner.
4. Recipient Responsibilities
Verified recipients agree to: (a) coordinate pickup respectfully and promptly, (b) not share donor addresses with third parties, (c) use items only for personal or community benefit, and (d) treat donors with respect during all interactions.
5. No Warranty / No Liability
Items are provided "as is." ReFound Impact makes no representations about item condition, safety, or fitness for any purpose. ReFound Impact is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, or dispute arising from connections made through this platform.
6. Image Processing
Photos uploaded to list items are analyzed by AI to generate a text description and are immediately and permanently discarded. We do not store, retain, or share any uploaded photographs.
7. Data We Collect
We collect only your email address for authentication purposes. We do not collect payment information, physical addresses (donor addresses are encrypted and inaccessible except through admin-controlled release), or any other personal data.
8. Account Termination
ReFound Impact reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
